Back to School with Home Basics
Whether your child is learning from the comforts of your home or in-person, this school year is unlike any before.
We have prepared some tips, tricks, and products to help you and your superstar, rock this school year!
Returning to class?
This year you will probably be cleaning, and sanitizing more than ever before.
GET ORGANIZED: Keeping track of where everything is can be confusing. Try using labels and Home Basics plastic bins to keep track of all of your child's school items. Using signs as simple "clean" and "dirty" can help add some order to your busy day!
STAY HYDRATED: There is no surprise that many schools will be shutting down their water fountain this year to stop the spread of germs. Help keep your child hydrated with one of our stylish water bottles. Our easy-care hydration line is sure to have the perfect fit for you!
BE PREPARED: Make sure you get plenty of pencils, pens, and highlighters! To stop the spread of germs, it's better if these items aren't shared. Don't forget plenty of masks, hand sanitizer, and wipes too. Use a plastic container to hold all of your supplies, so it's easy to wipe down and sanitize.
Learning from home?
GET ORGANIZED: Creating a dedicated learning space in your home starts with the organization. If you don't have room for a full desk Use a Home Basics snack table instead! Utilize drawer space, adding in-home basics dividers to separate school supplies. Add a Home Basics bookshelf to discretely store all bulky items.
BE PREPARED: Even if your child is working from home, nothing marks the start of a new school year like new supplies. Help get your student excited by encouraging them to help you pick out new supplies. Think outside of the box when it comes to storing your supplies. Use a Home Basics makeup organizer to take their home school "desk" to the next level!
Pro-tip: if you have space, try one of our cube organizers to add even more organization.
With such uncertainty in the world, one thing can be certain #shophomebasicshasyoucovered
